Spinach burgers

Spinach BurgersDifficulty: Easy

Servings: 2-3




-1 bag of thawed and well drained chopped spinach

-2 egg whites

-1 whole egg

-1/4 cup diced green onion

-1 tsp red pepper flakes

-1 tsp sea salt

-freshly ground pepper to taste

-1 cup minced vegetables (green bell peppers, broccoli, cabbage)

-1/2 tsp garlic powder


Mix well in a bowl.  Form into burger-sized patties. (Or you can do spinach balls.) Then heat a nonstick skillet over medium high heat.  Spray with olive oil cooking spray. Cook for 4-6 minutes each side.

Can eat by itself or with cooked lean ground meat wrapped in a lettuce wrap.
