Books and Videos

There are lots of books and and videos on the market about health…possibly more than any other topic, other than self-help. Unfortunately, most of them don’t really give you the core facts of what it takes to get your body healthy…they are trying to sell you on their “approach” or “program” to get healthy and/or lose weight. While they might be well-intentioned, they don’t really address the issue of true health…eating the right food and changing your habits.

So to help you navigate through this sea of information in books, we have compiled a list of some books we believe really hit the nail on the head and give you some great information that really works. We will continually update this list…this should get you started learning more of the right information about your body, food, and lifelong optimal health.

  • Hungry For Change
    • This video exposes shocking secrets the diet, weight loss and food industry don’t want you to know about; deceptive strategies designed to keep you coming back for more. Find out what’s keeping you from having the body and health you deserve and how to escape the diet trap forever.
  • Ingredients
    • This is a journey that reveals the people behind the movement to bring good food back to the table and health back to our communities. At the focal point of this movement, and of this film, are the farmers and chefs who are creating a truly sustainable food system. Their collaborative work has resulted in great tasting food and an explosion of consumer awareness about the benefits of eating local.
  • Forks Over Knives
    • This movie examines the profound claim that most, if not all, of the degenerative diseases that afflict us can be controlled, or even reversed, by rejecting animal-based and processed foods. Their separate research led them to the same startling conclusion: degenerative diseases like heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and even several forms of cancer, could almost always be prevented – and in many cases reversed – by adopting a whole-foods, plant-based diet.
  • Food Inc
    • They examine the costs of putting value and convenience over nutrition and environmental impact. • Fascinated, Garrett embarks on a cross-country road trip to investigate The Gerson Therapy. He meets with scientists, doctors and cancer survivors who reveal how it is in the best interest of the multi-billion dollar medical industry to dismiss the notion of alternative and natural cures. It has been said that more people live off cancer than die from it. The Beautiful Truth is a movie that can put a stop to this travesty. Here is a very practical guide to the intensive nutritional treatment of cancer and other life-threatening diseases that many would consider to have been impossible to obtain.

  • Doctored
    • This is an investigation in the “monopoly” of the medical industrial complex and how Americans are viewed as patients. A visit to the doctor can be traumatic enough. Now we learn about the “influencers” – the people you never see, but whose job it is to turn you into a compliant, pill popping, revenue generation unit. It reveals the unseen tactics of these “influencers” in an investigation that leads to the highest levels of the American Medical Association (AMA) and reveals an alarming portrait of deception and criminality.

NOTE: We don’t have any connection or economic benefit to recommending these resources…we just agree with the message they are sharing and their approach to health.
